Jonathan Wheeler is a PhD student at Stanford University studying Electrical Engineering. His research at Stanford's Ginzton Laboratory invovles improving the performance of a Fiber Optic Gyroscope by using a broadened laser instead of a conventional Erbium-doped broadband source. He plans to start working at Northrop Grumman developing next-generation Fiber Optic Gyroscopes once he graduates at Stanford.
